Short History Of The Burgoyne

1783

Built

Late Georgian country house previously known as Hill House. It was converted into guest accommodation and then a hotel in the years after World War II.

1875 and 1923

Extension

There is evidence that an earlier property stood on this site and the cosy fireplace in the Lounge is believed to pre-date the original house. The country house is a truly unique building full of original features.
